Privacy

A plain-language account of what is collected, why it is collected, and how subscribers remain in control.

Effective July 2026

Permission is the foundation.

The Pro-Black Standard is currently published by Tyler Burns. Peace Be To Black is a planned educational nonprofit and is not represented here as a registered or tax-exempt organization.

01

Information collected

The doctrine-library form collects an email address and explicit consent. First name, organization or school, interest category, and physical-edition interest are optional. The dedicated print waitlist also asks for country, state or region, estimated copy quantity, and intended use.

02

Why it is collected

Information is used to verify subscribers, deliver requested digital resources, announce the physical edition, understand the audience, improve distribution, and send occasional publication or Peace Be To Black updates. Optional organizational information is not used to make eligibility decisions.

03

Email processor and verification

Kit is the selected email and form processor. A subscriber is not treated as verified until the confirmation link in Kit’s double-opt-in email is clicked. Doctrine downloads are delivered only after that confirmation. Until the Kit integration is activated, forms do not save submitted information.

04

Sale, advertising, and sharing

Subscriber information will not be sold to advertisers. It may be processed by the email and hosting providers solely to operate the publication, secure the site, deliver messages, and maintain the requested list.

05

Unsubscribe and deletion

Every publication email must contain an unsubscribe link. A subscriber may request deletion by replying to any publication email with “Delete my data” in the subject line. Unsubscribed addresses may be retained on a suppression list only to prevent future unwanted email.

06

Cookies, analytics, and operational logs

The publication does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics. The hosting and email providers may process limited security, delivery, and operational logs necessary to provide their services. This page will be updated before adding nonessential analytics.
